Sharing Bounces
Send a bounce to a friend, a collaborator, or your group chat for quick feedback. They just open the link and listen, no account needed.
Share a bounce
You need to be signed in to share (a free account works). Then pick one of these:
- Right-click a project and choose Share bounce to share its primary bounce
- Expand the project and click Share on any bounce
- Right-click a bounce in the expanded project and choose Share bounce
- Open the project’s Shares tab and click Share primary bounce
MAKID uploads the bounce and copies the link to your clipboard. Paste it wherever.
The first time you share, MAKID shows a quick heads up explaining that the bounce gets uploaded.
Managing your links
Open the project’s Shares tab to see every link you’ve made from that project: how many plays it got, when you shared it, when it expires, and whether it’s still active. From there you can open the link, copy it again, or Expire share to kill it early.
Sharing whole projects
MAKID shares bounces, not Ableton projects. To send a full project, use File → Collect All and Save in Ableton Live, then send the folder however you normally do.
